GO TO CONTACTS ON THE BIKE SHARE WEBSITE AND SEND THEM AN EMAIL ASKING FOR ASTORIA LOCATIONS. ASTORIA MAY NOT BE ON THE LIST OF REMAINING NEIGHBORHOODS, BUT THEY SAID THE PLAN ISN'T SET IN STONE, AND THERE ARE 180 STATIONS THAT HAVEN'T BEEN ANNOUNCED.
Queens Community Board 1 doesn't want and won't allow bike share. They don't like bikes.
